【摘要】:Theexternalloadingpropertiesofplasticpipeobtainedbythistestmethodareusedforthefollowing:Todeterminethestiffnessofthepipe.Thisisafunctionofthepipedimensionsandthephysicalpropertiesofthematerialofwhichthepipeismade.Todeterminetheload-deflectioncharacteristicsandpipestiffnesswhichareusedforengineeringdesign(seeAppendixX1).Tocomparethecharacteristicsofvariousplasticsinpipeform.Tostudytheinterrelationsofdimensionsanddeflectionpropertiesofplasticpipeandconduit.Tomeasurethedeflectionandload-resistanceatanyofseveralsignificanteventsiftheyoccurduringthetest.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofload-deflectioncharacteristicsofplasticpipeunderparallel-plateloading.1.2Thistestmethodcoversthermoplasticresinpipe,reinforcedthermosettingresinpipe(RTRP),andreinforcedpolymermortarpipe(RPMP).1.3Thecharacteristicsdeterminedbythistestmethodarepipestiffness,stiffnessfactor,andloadatspecificdeflections.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note18212;Whilethistestmethodcanbeusedinmeasuringthepipestiffnessofcorrugatedplasticpipeortubing,specialconditionsandproceduresareused.Thesedetailsareincludedintheproductstandards,forexample,SpecificationF405.1.5Thetextofthistestmethodreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthetestmethod.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Isothermalsecantbulkmodulus(staticbulkmodulus)isapropertythatmeasuresthecompressibilityofaliquid.Thegreaterthevalue,thelessthecompressibilityoftheliquid.Isothermalsecantbulkmodulusisemployedinthedesignofhighperformancehydraulicfluidandbrakingsystems.Highbulkmodulusisdesirableinthattheresponsetimeofasystemisfasterwhenappliedpressuremoredirectlyeffectstheactionofthesystemratherthaninthecompressionoftheworkingliquid.Ifisothermalsecantbulkmodulusisknownasafunctionofpressure,thedatamaybeusedtocalculateisothermaltangentbulkmodulusanddensityasafunctionofpressure.Thedatamaynot,however,beusedtodetermineisentropic(dynamic)bulkmodulus.ThatpropertyisusuallydeterminedfromvelocityofsoundmeasurementsanddiffersfromisothermalbulkmodulusbytheratioofCp/Cv=x03B3;(theratioofheatcapacityatconstantpressuretothatatconstantvolumeforthetestspecimen.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofisothermalsecantandtangentbulkmodulusofliquidswhicharestableandcompatiblewithstainlesssteelundertheconditionsoftest.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtobeusedoverthetemperaturerangefrom-40to200176;Candfromambientto68.95Mpa(10000psig).Note1Becauseofthedesignofthetestapparatus,theupperlimitofpressurewhichcanbeattainedislimitedbythebulkmodulusofthetestfluid.Pressuresashighas68.95Mpawillnotbeattainedforfluidsofrelativelylowbulkmodulusatthetesttemperature.1.3Thistestmethodassumesthattheuserisproficientintheassemblyanduseofmediumpressure(m/p)threadedandconedfittingswhichareintendedforuseatpressuresupto137.9Mpa(20000psig).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2Becausehydraulicpressureinthetestsystemisproducedbypurelymechanicalmeans,thetestmethodisnotsubjecttothehazardsassociatedwithsystemswhicharepressurizedpneumatically.Evensmallleakswillresultinimmediatedropinpressuretoambientwithoutproductionofahighpressureliquidstreamormist.
