【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemechanical,physical,andopticalcharacteristicsofa130mmopticaldiskcartridge(ODC)thatemploysthermo-opticalPhaseChangeeffectstoenabledatainterchangebetweensuchdisks.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwotypes:-TypeRW(Rewritable)providesfordatatobewrittenreadanderasedmanytimesovertherecordingsurfacesofthedisk.-TypeWORM(WriteOnceReadMany)providesfordataoncewrittentobereadamultiplicityoftimes.ThistypeusesaWriteOnceReadManytimesrecordingmaterial(writtenmarkscannotbeerasedandattemptedmodificationsofthewrittenmarksaredetectable).Multisession(incrementalwriteoperations)recordingmaybeperformedonTypeWORMdisks.Thediskistwo-sidedwithanominalcapacityof15,0Gbytespersideandthecartridge(twosides)providesanominalcapacityof30,0Gbytes.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies:-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanical,physicalanddimensionalcharacteristicsofthecartridgesoastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothembossedanduser-written,includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,themodulationmethodsused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-thethermo-opticalcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;and-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
